Writing Section The common app personal statement requires you to choose from five prompts, which are basically starting points for your essay. If you're looking for some solid tips and advice on an effective admissions essay, you've come to the right place. The body of the essay is where you make the sale that your thesis is true. There all kinds of ways to write a college essay and there is no perfect form as long as your piece is engaging, logical, revealing … and answers the prompt. Be sure to do your research on all that Wharton has to offer and to be specific on the contributions you will make. Instead, select a few unique areas where you will contribute and discuss the mark you hope to leave.
